My name is Ben. When I was 8 years old, I drew up plans for an iPad - only it had a clipboard attachment. Of course, I had tons of ideas like that one, but since I didn't even get an allowance, most of the money I found on the playground went towards sketchbooks (aaannndd gummy bears).
Now I'm 31. Pen and paper are messy and disorganized, design software is too expensive and difficult to use, and if you're a kid, you can't afford it. So my team and I are fixing this by making something new.
It's called Concepts: Smarter Sketching. It's got stacks of papers, intuitive tools, a color palette designed by COPIC Marker, crisp zoom for detail work, a background layer you can draw over, and some super-awesome shape guides you can manipulate with your fingers to lay down precision ink. It's better than pen-and-paper, and makes realizing your ideas easy, professional-looking, and fun.
Now I can finally get something done. So can you… and your eight-year-old dreamer. It's free to get started, so you can afford it (aaannndd your gummy bears).
Concepts - for your day-to-day designs - available now in the App Store.
